Yes. Since the Personal Spending Account is a taxable account, it meets the requirements that your SLB LTD premiums be paid with after-tax cash, thus ensuring that any LTD benefits that you may receive are tax-free.
Yes. If there is a balance in your Personal Spending Account when you leave SLB, that balance will be forfeited. However, you will have 90 days from the date you leave in which to submit any outstanding claims, but only claims incurred before your last day at work will be processed.
Yes, you have two (2) calendar years to use each year’s allocation. After this period, any unused amounts are forfeited. If there is any money left over in your HSA or PSA at the end of the year, it can be carried forward into the next year. The unused monies can only be carried forward for one year only; they will be forfeited at the end of the second year.
No,you need to use all the balances in this account in the year it's given. Otherwise, it'll be forfeited.
Claims for both the Personal Spending Account and Wellness Personal Spending Account can only be submitted using the printed claim form available on Benefits Central Forms and Plan documents page.
