Personal and Vacation Days

Personal Health and Family Responsibility Days
Taking the time to take care of your own physical and mental health, as well as family responsibilities, is important. To ensure that you have some paid-time dedicated to do this, all regular full-time employees may use up to 7 days (up to 8 hours per day) per calendar year to attend to their own physical and mental health, or to meet other family responsibilities. Family consists of eligible dependents, extended family, and/or non-related dependents you may be responsible for.

For more information please see the Canada Employee Handbook.

Vacation Days
SLB provides paid vacation to allow all full-time employees to benefit from time away from work. The amount of vacation provided to full-time employees assuming they work in Canada for a full calendar year is referred to as “annual vacation entitlement”. The annual vacation entitlement is pro-rated for employees hired or transferred into Canada after January 1st.

For more information please see the Vacation Standard.
