That would be a lot simpler. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be legal. Insurance companies need to have a "blue ink" signature on file, which means it can only be done on paper. It's a way of protecting you and, most importantly, your beneficiaries.
You can update this one of two ways; online or over the phone. To update this online please login to My Benefits Portal and select 'Update Beneficiaries'. Once you've made changes online, you will need to print the beneficiary form, sign it and mail it to the address on the form.

To update it over the phone or if you have questions, please call the SLB Canada Benefits Centre toll-free at 1-866-557-5222, Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Mountain time).
