Benefit Enrollment Windows
Benefits elections completed during the enrollment periods below will take effect January 1, 2027.
During this enrollment period, you will select your Flex Benefits coverage, including:
- Extended Health Care
- Dental Care
- Long-Term Disability (LTD)
- Life and AD&D Insurance
- Optional Life, AD&D and Critical Illness Insurance
- Health Spending Account (HSA), Personal Spending Account (PSA) and RRSP Flex dollar allocations
- Action Required: Complete your Flex Benefits enrollment by November 20, 2026 | Effective January 1, 2027
Review Your SLB Retirement and Savings Plan
- Confirm or change your contribution rate
- Update investment selections
- Designate beneficiaries
- Explore additional retirement and savings products available through the plan
- Action Required: Complete your MAX Review updates by December 15, 2026 | Effective January 1, 2027

2027 Flex Benefits Enrollment
Enrollment Period: November 2 – November 20, 2026
Enroll in your Flex Benefits for the 2027 plan year. Elections made during this period will take effect January 1, 2027.
During Annual Enrollment, you can:
- Choose your Health, Dental and Long-Term Disability coverage
- Select optional Life, AD&D and Critical Illness insurance
- Complete Wellness Actions to earn an additional $300 Flex dollars
- Direct unused Flex dollars to your Health Spending Account (HSA), Personal Spending Account (PSA) and/or during annual enrollment only, to your Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)
Before You Enroll
To prepare for enrollment:
Enroll in your 2027 Flex Benefits

Ready to enroll? Follow these steps:
- Access the enrollment website
Access Flex Benefits Enrollment website to get started. If accessing outside of SLB intranet, log in using your LDAP email and password. - Begin enrollment and review your information
Confirm your personal information and dependents are accurate - Review your Wellness Actions
Select yes, if you plan to complete at least two Wellness Actions to earn an additional $300 Flex dollars to put toward your benefits - Choose your coverage
Review and select your benefit coverage. You can model your choices and costs before making your final selections. - Add your beneficiaries
Assign your beneficiaries for each insured product. - Allocate unused Flex dollars
Direct any remaining Flex dollars to your Health Spending Account, Personal Spending Account and/or Registered Retirement Savings Plan. - Review and submit
Confirm your benefit elections and complete any required Evidence of Insurability (EOI) forms
If You Do Not Enroll
If no election is made, you will automatically be enrolled in:
You will not have coverage for any optional benefits, and your dependents will not have coverage. Coverage for dependents is not automatic and must be elected during enrollment.

SLB Retirement and Savings Plan Enrollment
Action Required: Sun Life MAX Review
Between December 1 – December 15, 2026 review your participation in the Retirement and Savings Plan.
While you are enrolled in the Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP) by default, between December 1 and December 15, 2026, you can use Sun Life’s MAX Review tool to update your choices in advance of January 1, 2027.
During the MAX Review period, you should:
- Confirm or update your contribution rate
- Review and update investment selections
- Designate beneficiaries
- Explore additional retirement and savings products available through the plan
Any updates made during the MAX Review period will become effective January 1, 2027.
Before Participating in MAX Review
We encourage you to:
- Attend an educational webinar
- Review your personalized Sun Life Transition Guide, which will be sent to your email address on file with Sun Life
- Review the Benefits Central Retirement and Savings Plan page
Making Changes After January 1, 2027
You can make ongoing changes to your retirement and savings elections through mysunlife.ca, including:
- Contribution rates
- Investment selections
- Beneficiary designations
- Savings products
If you choose not to use the MAX Review tool you will be automatically enrolled in the SLB Retirement and Savings Plan for January 1, 2027.
You will be automatically enrolled in the SLB Retirement and Savings Plan. You will receive a 6% employer base contribution to the Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), be enrolled to contribute 4% of your eligible annual earnings and receive a 100% company match on that contribution. This results in a total DCPP contribution of 14% of your eligible annual earnings. Until you make changes, your contributions will be invested in the target date fund closest to your 65th birthday, and your beneficiary designation will default to your estate. You can update this at any time after January 1, 2027.

SLB Retirement and Savings Plan
Building Your Financial Future
Effective January 1, 2027, you will automatically be enrolled in the SLB Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP).
Your initial enrollment includes:
- A 6% company DCPP contribution
- A 4% employee contribution
- A 4% company matching contribution
- Investment in the Target Date Fund closest to your anticipated retirement year
- Your estate designated as the default beneficiary
Action Required: Sun Life MAX Review
Between December 1 and December 15, 2026, you will have access to Sun Life’s MAX Review tool.
During this period, you should:
