Moving / Relocating
If you’re moving or transferring to other locations within Canada, your Flex Benefits will remain unchanged. Remember to update your address in PeopleConnect.
If you’re transferring out of Canada, after you have accepted your new assignment and signed the LOA: your local HR will be responsible for initiating your relocation and your Canada Benefits will cover you until your last day on the Canada payroll. For relocation to US, please refer to the NAM Relocation Hub for detailed information. For relocation to countries other than US, please contact your receiving location HR.

Changing Your Address of Records
- Log in to PeopleConnect and click “My Profile” and then the Personal Information tab in the top navigation bar. Scroll down and click the pencil icon above your current address in the “Contact & Addresses” section to update your personal mailing address.
- Provide a street address wherever possible to help avoid delivery delays and facilitate certain benefits-related transactions
- Don’t provide a work mailing address or Post Office box unless another mailing address isn’t practical
- After you’ve made the online update, check your pay slip to be sure your new address is shown correctly. It may take up to two pay-periods for the change to be reflected on your pay slip.
- Once your address is updated in the company record, it takes up to 2 weeks for it to be reflected in your benefits account with Sun Life. If you have questions about your change of address update or need help, submit a request to ESM
